Penis

The male reproductive organ responsible for sexual intercourse and the delivery of sperm.
The penis consists of erectile tissue and serves multiple functions, including urination and sexual reproduction. It is made up of three main parts: the root, the body, and the glans. The erectile tissue expands and contracts, allowing for erections and flaccidity, depending on various stimuli.

Function
The primary functions of the penis are sexual reproduction and the expulsion of urine. During sexual arousal, the blood vessels in the erectile tissue dilate, filling the tissue with blood and causing an erection. This transformation is essential for inserting the penis into the vagina during sexual intercourse, enabling the transfer of sperm. The penis also facilitates urination by serving as the conduit for urine to leave the body, which passes through the urethra, a tube located within the penis. This dual functionality highlights the penis's importance in both reproductive and urinary systems of the male body.
Location
The penis is located externally in the lower abdomen, protruding from the pubic region. It is positioned above the scrotum, which houses the testicles. The penis extends from the pubic symphysis, a joint located at the front of the pelvis, and stretches toward the glans, the sensitive tip of the penis. The surrounding skin is flexible, allowing for the range of movement and expansion necessary during sexual activity.
